Further, it manufactures, sells, and exports polyester yarns; and constructs water structures, irrigation and drainage system, bridges, tunnels, roads, factories, treatment plants, infra-structure facilities, pipelines, houses, and commercial buildings. The company also exports its products. The company was formerly known as Metem Enerji ve Tekstil Sanayi Ticaret Anonim Sirketi and changed its name Isiklar Enerji ve Yapi Holding A.S. in February 2012. The company was incorporated in 1982 and is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey.
